I bought an Asus RT-AC66U back in 2013 and kept stock firmware on it until April 2018. I wanted to get back into dd-wrt since I had fond memories of it with an old wrt54g back in 2009. Hi, I was considering buying a RT-N66U, but with this 32/64Kb NVRAM issue I've postponed my purchase until now. But the brand new RT-AC66U has hit the stores on time so I'm now considering buying this one Asus RT-AC66U page
I ended up getting an ASUS RT-AC66U which supports DD-WRT. I put the Cisco router in bridge mode after having to call up my ISP as there wasnt any obvious option to put it into bridging mode. Then I flashed the ASUS Router with dd-wrt, this all went fine as I was able to login to the router via 192.168.1.1.
